• Profile Information: Your name, phone number, email address, profile photo, and biography when you register.
• Payment & Payout Details: Telebirr account information or phone number to facilitate tipping and withdrawal operations.
• Social Media Links: Usernames or links to platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube that you choose to link to your profile.
• Device & Technical Data: IP address, device model, operating system, and FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) tokens utilized for sending transactional status notifications and automated system reminders.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

• To set up, customize, and maintain your GurshaPay creator profile.
• To process tips, coordinate payouts, and verify transaction statuses.
• To deliver push notifications reminding you of missing profile steps (e.g., onboarding, Telebirr setup).
• To detect, prevent, and address security incidents or fraudulent transactions.

3. Sharing and Disclosing Data

GurshaPay does not sell your personal data. We share information only to facilitate core business functions:

• Payment Gateways (Chapa & Telebirr): To verify and process payment tip actions and withdrawals safely.
• Firebase: For dispatching push notifications and operational updates to your device.
• Google Gemini API: For drafting personalized push reminder copy dynamically using AI. No personal financial information is sent to the AI service.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate physical, technical, and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All database connections and API calls are secured using industry-standard TLS encryption protocols.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

We respect your control over your data. Under our policy, you have the right to request deletion of all collected information at any time:

• In-App Deletion: You can initiate account termination and data removal directly through your in-app Settings menu.
• Email Request: You can send an email requesting data deletion to support@gurshapay.com.

Once a deletion request is received, we will delete your profile, payment settings, social media links, and transaction logs from our active databases within 30 days, retaining only records required by legal or regulatory compliance.
